Mohd. Faizal Ahmad was the Head Prefect in Laksamana Secondary School, Kota Tinggi Johor Darul Takzim. Upon completing his A-Levels Examination in 1989, Mohd. Faizal read Law at the University of Leeds, England in 1990. In 1993, Mohd Faizal graduated from the University of Leeds with a Second Class Upper degree whereupon he proceeded to do his Bar Exams in London and was admitted to the English Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in July 1994.
Upon his return in 1994, he read in the chambers of Mohd Baharuddin Ahmad, a partner of the firm of Messrs Ali Zaiton and Baharuddin. During his pupilage he was exposed to Corporate and Conveyancing work wherein he assisted his Master in the drafting of joint-venture (JV) agreements of several institutional clients. Mohd. Faizal completed his pupilage and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 8th July 1995. Upon his admission, Mohd. Faizal started as a Legal Assistant in the firm of Messrs Abdul Raman Saad and Associates as a partner.
Currently, Mohd. Faizal is a Senior Partner in Messrs Hazelin & Associates and specialises in litigation and corporate work. He was the Secretary for the Johor Bar Committee for the period 2000 - 2001. In addition, he is also a Director of Admira Syahirin Sdn. Bhd. |
